The Cobbold Family History Trust (CFHT) is exempt from Notification but collects and processes personal information only in accordance with the eight principles laid down in the Act. The CFHT is a non profit organisation formed as far as The Data Protection Act is concerned for the purpose of continuously compiling and updating the Cobbold Family Tree. Personal information is used for this and immediately related purposes only and will never be disclosed to any other organisation. For the purposes of the Act the Data Controller is The Cobbold Family History Trust at 14 Moorfields, Moorhaven, Ivybridge, Devon PL21 0XQ. Individuals may request that their personal information be removed by contacting the CFHT by post, telephone (01752 894498) or email (anthonycobbold@tiscali.co.uk) which are also the methods by which the CFHT may contact individuals.
